England Alevi Cultural Centre & Cem Evi is a registered charity organisation. The centre was established in May 1993 .The aims af our sentre are:
1. To provide cultural educational activities in order to
protect, maintain, and pass the Alevi philosophy to future generations.
2. To respect Human Rights, freedom of belief.
3. To support and improve solidarity between ethnich minorities, part of
multicultural Britain.
4. To act againsts racismi
5. To act againsts gender discrimination within ethnic minorities.
6. To keep childrin and young people away from drugs, gambling and other illegal
activities.
PUBLİC SERVİCES.
Consultation and advice
Interpreter services for health, legal, DSS. housing, and also education, etc.
To help our members solve their personal or family problems.
To get appointments for the members from surgeries, Hospitals, and Dentists and
provide interpreters if needed.
To help members for their health problems and to go to the hospital via GPs.
Funeral services and other religious services such as Kırk yemegi (A meal given
by the family of the deceased on the 40 day after funeral ) for Alevi (Turk&Kurd).
To library facilities for members and non members .
To provide Turkish newspapers and magazines for members and visitors.
To advertise the activities of the centre.
